Sydney Weekly Wrap Edition 3

Inside ivy’s music venue. On Friday nights, the event held is called WAO Superclub.

Hello reader!

Thank you for coming back to our website for more ideas on what to do in Sydney. In this week’s wrap-up, we share our experience visiting a massage centre in the CBD, a Vietnamese restaurant in Sydney’s south-west, a Korean local favourite in North Strathfield, and more.

Grand Sydney Thai Massage (Druitt St)

This place is close to Pyrmont Bridge and a few minutes’ walk from Queen Victoria Building. Inside, the music and tranquil decoration makes you feel apart from the busy city life. The massages are professional and done in calming private rooms that remind you of ancient gardens.

Massage treatments include Thai, foot reflexology, deep tissue and oil. Grand Sydney Thai Massage is a reputable centre for your health and relaxation needs.

Golden Lotus Modern Vietnamese Cuisine

If you live near Campbelltown, you might have visited Macarthur Square, a compact, modern shopping mall outside Macarthur Square train station. Outside the mall, there is a small strip of restaurants.

Golden Lotus Modern Vietnamese Cuisine serves tasty soup noodles in a family-friendly environment with indoor and outdoor seating.

WAO Superclub at Ivy

If you’re wanting a taste of Sydney’s nightlife and clubbing scene, visit the ivy precinct just outside Wynyard train station. On Friday nights, large queues await entry into WAO Superclub. This is a large venue with different floors playing styles of music including trance, RnB, and EDM dance anthems.

Holy Basil Darling Square

A short stroll from Darling Harbour, this distinctively decorated restaurant serves cuisine with plenty of fresh herbs and spicy flavours. The menu features Thai and Laos food. Make a reservation before going, as walk-ins can face an unpredictable waiting time.

Holy Basil started as a small shop in Canley Heights more than a decade ago.

Myeongdong North Strathfield

Myeongdong has an almost legendary status amongst locals who love Korean food. The number of banchan side dishes served is around twelve. Astounding! Steaming stone bowls of pork and beef bone soup come out of the kitchen to a busy dining floor.
