An affordable, family-friendly yum cha restaurant inside Campsie RSL club. You can pick the bamboo steamers from the roaming trolley carts, or tick off the items you’d like from a paper menu. There is a bar inside Sun Ho, which means you can enjoy a refreshing beer with your dim sum.

Doodles Noodles

Doodles Noodles is that lunch spot with generous portions and affordable prices. It’s super conveniently next to Hyde Park and 2 mins walk from Town Hall Station. The ingredients are fresh and the meat is tender. Try the Wonton Noodle Soup, or laksa.

Hawker Lane in Westfield Shopping Centre Chatswood

This food court is styled after the sound, smells and sights of street food markets commonly found in Asia. If you’re a fan of Vietnamese food, there is pho. If you enjoy flavour inspired by cumin, try the lamb skewers at Yummy Guilin Taste. For quick n’ easy lunches, Japanese rice bowls can be found at Kumadon.
The entrance to Hawker Lane is at the bottom retail floor of Chatswood Westfield, next to Target.
1915 Lanzhou Beef Noodles

A staple restaurant that is regularly busy with lunch-time and dinner-time diners, 1915 Lanzhou Beef Noodles is inside World Square Shopping Centre. The popular orders here are beef noodle soup, lamb skewers and dumplings. You can choose the thickness of your noodles and watch them hand-pulled in the kitchen.

Chungking Malatang

Of the many malatang options available in Sydney’s CBD, Chungking offers one of the tidiest experiences. Choose from a wide selection of meat, seafood, vegetables and noodle texturs to form the ingredients of your bowl. Pick soup from varieties that include Pickled Cabbage, Bone Soup, and Tom Yum.
A dry, stir-fry version is also available at Chungking Malatang in Haymarket’s Chinatown.
